The wall is not supposed to be a foreign object but we wish it to be occupied and accepted by all the residents (children and pedestrians). The wall is walkable and one can experience the four elements – earth, fire, water and wind – by walking the wall. Walking the stretched lane of the wall one reaches the southernmost point of the hill. It is also the highest point of the wall. The path and it's foundation represent the element fire, represented by basalt lava that is typical of the region. On the surface above the footpath grows lush bear-skin gras representing the element of the fructuous earth. There is a sculpture at the uppermost point that is moving in the wind as well as reeds covering the southern hillside which are also moving in the wind representing the obvious element. Walking back along the ridge one comes to the northern extension of the wall. At the endpoint of it there is a flush incliend surface covered with water – representing the obvious element of water. Residents can walk and children can play on and in the water covered surface. Because of the intentional division of the levels, earth and fire, the height of the wall is experienced as optically lower than it realy is. This is crucial for the aesthetic value of the wall.
