Location

The „Marienküppel“ is a small hill. On it's south-west peak a new constructional barricade will be built as a compact housing structure. The quarter stretches across a mountainous landscape between Rauschenberg, Marienküppel and the distinctive basalt mountain. It also covers the Petersberg with the St. Peter-Kirche (St. Peter church) which is visible from a long distance.The Marienküppel together with the Waidestal (valley) forms the finalization of the very natural space surrounding the city. The hollow of the valley and the starting point of our construction will spell out the direction and movement in which the buildings will develop.
